National Investment Bank PLC (NIB) has proudly emerged as a double winner at the 36th Annual National Marketing Performance Awards, held on Friday, September 26, 2025, at the Labadi Beach Hotel.
The Bank’s innovative “Mame Loan Nu” campaign was named the Below-the-Line Campaign of the Year 2024, earning praise from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (CIMG) for its creativity, ability to connect with audiences, and its meaningful impact on society. The campaign was recognised for the clarity of its message, its strong appeal to customers, and its ethical and educational approach.
In addition, NIB’s Managing Director, Chief Dr Doliwura Zakaria, received the coveted CIMG National President’s Special Award 2024. This honour highlighted his exceptional leadership, which has steered the Bank through its turnaround journey, restored its financial health, and positioned NIB as a key driver of Ghana’s 24-hour economy.
The CIMG commended Chief Dr Zakaria for his transformative leadership and ability to ensure business continuity despite global challenges. His efforts to reconnect NIB with its original mandate—supporting industrialisation and SME growth—were acknowledged as central to the Bank’s renewed relevance in the financial sector. The awards evening was a proud moment for NIB and its stakeholders, reaffirming the Bank’s commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction, and national development.
