The National Investment Bank PLC (NIB) was honoured to receive a delegation from the Ghana Police Ladies Association (POLA) at its Head Office. The delegation, led by the President of the Association and former Executive Director of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), Commissioner of Police (COP) Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah (Mrs), paid a courtesy call on the Managing Director of NIB, Chief Dr. Doliwura Zakaria. The visit served as a formal introduction of the Association’s leadership to the Bank’s Managing Director, and an opportunity to extend warm congratulations and best wishes to him on his appointment. COP Addo-Danquah commended Chief Dr. Doliwura Zakaria for the bold leadership direction he is charting for NIB and expressed the Association’s readiness to explore avenues for mutual collaboration. Chief Dr. Doliwura Zakaria expressed his sincere appreciation to the delegation for the visit and for their gesture of goodwill. In his remarks, he underscored NIB’s renewed mandate as a fully recapitalized bank, repositioned to deliver efficient, customer-focused and technology-driven banking services. He used the opportunity to introduce the Association to the Bank’s diverse portfolio of personal and institutional products and encouraged members of POLA to consider NIB as their primary financial partner. He emphasized that NIB has made significant strides in its digital transformation agenda, noting that recent upgrades across the Bank’s platforms had improved customer access, security, and convenience. “We are building a future-ready bank with robust digital infrastructure and personalised banking services. I assure you that your experience with NIB will reflect our new energy, professionalism, and commitment to excellence,” he stated. In response, COP Addo-Danquah welcomed the assurances and expressed POLA’s interest in establishing a banking relationship with NIB. She disclosed that the Association would add NIB to its list of financial service partners, and further appealed for the Bank’s consideration in future Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. She highlighted several ongoing social impact projects spearheaded by POLA that could benefit from institutional sponsorship and development support. “We appreciate the warm reception and the openness of your leadership. As an Association of professionals dedicated to national service and social upliftment, we believe in the power of partnerships—and we look forward to building one with NIB,” she said. The engagement ended on a cordial note, with both institutions reaffirming their commitment to fostering strong institutional collaboration.
