Mr. Yakubu Abdulai joined the National Investment Bank (NIB) PLC in July 2025 as the Acting Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). With over two decades of distinguished experience, he has a proven track record of enhancing IT service delivery, governance, and cyber resilience for leading public and private institutions within Ghana's banking, technology, and manufacturing sectors. His career is marked by successful leadership roles at prominent organizations, including Margins ID Group, Heritage Bank Limited, and the Ecobank Group, where he has been instrumental in safeguarding critical information assets and ensuring robust security postures.

An expert in developing and implementing risk-proportionate, business-aligned enterprise security strategies, Mr. Abdulai is adept at building and leading high-performance teams to protect against and respond to cyber threats. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics and possesses a wealth of prestigious industry certifications, including CISSP-ISSAP, CSSLP, and C|CISO. As a licensed Cybersecurity Professional by the Cyber Security Authority (CSA) of Ghana, his expertise will be invaluable in overseeing the Bank's Information Security Division and advancing its security initiatives.
