Gausu is an experienced finance executive with over two (2) decades of experience in Finance and Accounting roles spanning banking, asset management, and media. He joined the National Investment Bank in 2017 and played key roles in the Bank's strategic planning; including leading the bank's project team that coordinated with Oliver Wyman to develop the bank's current business strategy document.
He has been the Financial Controller of National Investment Bank (NIB) since 2020, where he has supervised critical financial operations, including financial reporting, regulatory compliance, performance monitoring, and payroll administration.
Gausu has led initiatives, including resolving legacy issues, implementing dynamic budgeting models, and improving branch-level cost controls. His expertise in financial management and strategic planning has been instrumental in driving the bank's financial performance and operational efficiency.
Gausu is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG) and holds an MBA in Finance from Sikkim Manipal University and a Bachelor of Arts (Secretaryship) from the University of Cape Coast. His strong educational foundation combined with extensive practical experience makes him a valuable asset to the National Investment Bank's leadership team.
