Ms. Mildred Samuel is a distinguished Chartered Certified Accountant and a qualified Barrister-at-Law and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana, with over two decades of progressive experience across Ghana, the United Kingdom, and St. Lucia. She holds an MBA with Distinction from Durham Business School (University of Durham), a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of London, and a Bachelor's degree (BA) in Management Systems from the University of Hull. She is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).

Ms. Samuel's career spans reputable institutions such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Citigroup Corporate and Investment Bank in London, and the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO). At EOCO, Ms. Samuel was actively involved in economic and organised crime litigation, non-conviction-based asset forfeiture, and high-profile investigations. Her dual qualifications in law and finance have enabled her to approach institutional risk from a comprehensive, multidimensional perspective.

Currently serving as the Chief Internal Control Officer at National Investment Bank (NIB) PLC, Ms. Samuel brings a rare combination of legal acumen and financial expertise to the role. She has been instrumental in driving the Bank's Business Sustainability and Digital Transformation initiatives, leading strategic reviews across people, property, performance, and profitability to support long-term growth.

With a robust background in internal controls, finance, corporate governance, and legal advisory, Ms. Samuel is known for implementing effective financial systems, enhancing compliance, and minimizing operational risks.
