Hon. Ebenezer Kwaku Addo is a seasoned administrator, legislator, and public servant with a rich background in governance, human resource management, and community engagement. He brings over a decade of experience in the Ghana Health Service and extensive local government and parliamentary experience to the Board of Directors of National Investment Bank PLC.
Currently serving as a Member of Parliament for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Addo plays an active role in national governance through his membership on the Youth and Sports Committee and the Petitions Committee of Parliament. Prior to entering Parliament in 2025, he built a progressive administrative career within the Ghana Health Service, rising through the ranks from Administrative Manager to Principal Administrative Manager in the Asutifi South District Health Directorate.
His public service record is marked by deep grassroots engagement. As an elected Assembly Member and Presiding Member of the Asutifi North District Assembly, he chaired and served on several key committees, including Finance & Administration, Mining & Environment, and Public Relations & Complaints. He has also represented the community on multiple stakeholder forums and negotiation platforms with Newmont Ghana Gold Limited, focusing on social responsibility, resettlement, and sustainable development.
Hon. Addo holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from the Catholic University of Ghana, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Publishing Studies from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), and a Diploma in Marketing Management from the UK's Institute of Commercial Management. A recipient of the UCIA Visionary Leadership Award for Excellence, Hon. Addo has also participated in numerous professional workshops on HR practices, administrative systems, and governance.
His leadership style is people-centered and rooted in transparency, inclusion, and service. He is fluent in English and Asante Twi and is passionate about reading and research. His presence on the Board strengthens NIB's community-oriented mandate and commitment to inclusive governance.
