Dr. Mrs. Mercy Naa Aku Offei-Koranteng is a highly accomplished professional with over 27 years of experience across the public and private sectors, specializing in finance, internal audit, risk management, corporate planning, and human resource administration. She brings deep technical knowledge, policy-level insight, and leadership acumen to the Board of Directors of National Investment Bank PLC.

Currently serving as the Assistant Chief Risk Officer (Coordinating Director) at the Parliamentary Service of Ghana, Dr. Offei-Koranteng is responsible for leading the development and implementation of risk management policies and strategies critical to the performance and governance of the institution. Prior to this, she held several key leadership positions at the Internal Audit Agency (IAA), including Director of Finance and Corporate Planning, Director of Human Resource and Administration, and Director of Finance and PBME, overseeing strategic financial planning, budgeting, human capital development, and institutional audits.

Earlier in her career, she served as Senior Audit Assistant at Pannell Kerr Forster (PKF), where she managed external audits for key financial institutions, including National Investment Bank, and developed strong proficiency in financial reporting and systems auditing.

Dr. Offei-Koranteng holds a Doctor of Business Administration from IPAG Business School (France), an Executive MBA in Project Management from the University of Ghana Business School, Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Geography from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana). She is also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and has benefited from multiple international training programs on leadership, public sector governance, internal auditing, and risk management in Canada, Dubai, the United States, and Ghana.

Her commitment to institutional integrity, gender inclusiveness, and public accountability is reflected in her work coordinating the fiduciary review of the world bank's support project and the African Development Bank's Ghana Institutional Support Programme.

Dr. Offei-Koranteng is deeply passionate about effective governance, corporate accountability, and public sector transformation. Her strengths in team coordination, strategic execution, and regulatory compliance make her an invaluable asset to NIB's ongoing transformation.

In her personal time, she enjoys reading, swimming, and gardening.
